A Preston-based retailer of paving stones is on its way to becoming the number one supplier in the industry backed by ongoing digital marketing success.

Ammaari Stones began life as an eBay store before launching its own dedicated website. In 2022, the company teamed up with seoBusiness UK to launch a comprehensive search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign which has propelled the business to the top spot across a number of key search terms.

SEO is one of the most cost-effective marketing tools available to businesses. It works by tailoring a website to be user-friendly and to meet the requirements of popular sites such as Google and Bing. By meeting these criteria, the Ammaari Stones has become the most visible business when potential customers search for items such as paving, bricks, roofing and other related outdoor products.

The original campaign focused on 80 strategic keywords. In March 2023, Ammaari added a tier one keyword to the campaign. Tier one keywords are the most widely searched, and thus are the most coveted, meaning even more intensive work is required to achieve the top spot.

However, the results of seoBusiness UK have been so impressive so quickly that Ammaari added a second tier one keyword to its campaign in April.

Munavvar Moosa, founder of Ammaari Stones, said: “The difference that seoBusiness UK’s campaign has made to our business has been incredible. And not just in terms of visibility and traffic to our website – because while those are important, they’re not the end goal – but in terms of sales, which is really what matters.”

Munavvar added: “We believe we have the best offer in the industry. We sell premium stones at prices that compete with much lower standard stuff. Nobody offers such high-quality products at the prices that we do.

“However, a good business idea is not enough by itself and it’s important to raise awareness. seoBusiness UK’s SEO campaign has helped us achieve that and I’m looking forward to seeing the results that the new tier one campaigns bring.

“My goal has always been to become the number one choice for DIYers, landlords and tradesmen and with what we’ve achieved so far – and knowing what’s to come – I have every confidence we’ll achieve that.”

Latif Kothia, director of seoBusiness UK, said: “Ammaari Stones is the perfect example of the results that can be achieved by pairing a good business idea with an effective digital marketing strategy.

“Munavvar has always said that he wants to become the number one supplier in his industry and there are no limits on what his business can achieve. We’re proud that our search engine optimisation expertise is playing an important role in his success and we’re excited to see what we can achieve with the additional tier one keywords.”
