Charlotte Knowles, head of client relationships at Nybble, has been appointed to Brewin Dolphin’s Female Founders Board.

Brewin Dolphin is one of the UK's largest wealth management firms.

The company offers investment management and financial planning services to individuals, companies, intermediaries, and charities, aiming to help clients protect, grow, and manage their wealth.

Their Female Founders Club is a unique platform designed to support and empower female entrepreneurs, bringing together a diverse group of individuals with invaluable experience and expertise in various aspects of entrepreneurship and business.

The Board includes CEOs, seasoned professionals, successful founders, corporate advisers and angel investors all of whom have navigated the challenges of starting and scaling businesses firsthand.

This diverse mix of talent and knowledge is dedicated to providing a supportive and collaborative environment for female entrepreneurs.

A key feature of the club is to offer early start female founders the opportunity to present on their existing ventures to our esteemed board and seek strategic advice with a variety of challenges currently faced.

The objective is to offer help and guidance needed to overcome these challenges and ultimately support business growth in the North West region.

Justina Best, Brewin Dolphin’s Regional Strategic Partnership Manager, said: “We are looking forward to having Charlotte on the Female Founders Club Board to support the next generation of female founders.  Her own experience of growing and successfully exiting her family business will play an important role in helping like-minded early start female founders with their business challenges.”

Charlotte Knowles joined Nybble in early 2024 after selling her multi award winning electrical contractor, Elektec, in 2023.

Nybble is a leading provider of managed IT, audio visual, and cyber services, catering to a diverse range of national and international clients.

Known for its customer-first ethos, innovative technology solutions and commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience, Nybble also takes pride in its strong social values, which are deeply embedded in the core of the business.

Charlotte Knowles, head of client relationships at Nybble, said: “I am thrilled and honoured to be asked to join the board and contribute to the support and empowerment of female entrepreneurs.

"Nybble are strong advocates for women in business, and this role further strengthens Nybble’s commitment to supporting and advancing opportunities for women.”
