Mint Trips launched to care for staff overseas

Mint Business Travel has published a new mobile app which helps employers care for their staff when travelling abroad.

The Burnley business designed Mint Trips, available on Android and Apple phones, to help companies to fulfil their legal and moral duty of care for their staff.

The app handles itinerary management, logs expenses, checks visa requirements and even identifies local points of interest.

Crucially, the app also helps businesses to take a strategic approach to travel risk management.

Through the app employers can always trace their staff and those overseas have multiple resources to call upon, from restaurant recommendations to updates on current FCO advice and alerts of flight delays.

The app also enables the user to arrange taxis, buses, transfers, rail travel and hotel bookings and includes a journal facility, where users can document their experiences and upload them each day via social media.
