Local businesses and job seekers are being invited to come together at the Hyndburn Jobs Fair on Monday 9th February, taking place at Accrington Town Hall from 10am to 3pm.
Organised by Hyndburn Borough Council, the event is designed to connect employers with people looking for work, with live job vacancies available to explore on the day.
The fair offers an ideal platform to help local businesses fill roles quickly while supporting residents in finding meaningful employment close to home.
Local businesses can take advantage of a free stand to showcase their vacancies, with applications available by emailing [email protected]
The event is also free for the public to attend, running continuously throughout the day to make it convenient for those wishing to visit during a lunch break.
Two exciting workshops will also be hosted at the Jobs Fair. From 10am to 11:30am, Hyndburn Borough Council will partner with Square Peg Recruitment for a session packed with practical tips for employers and their recruitment.
Later, from 1:30pm to 3pm, Kat from Work From Home Hub will lead an engaging session all about remote working, ideal for those looking for flexibility in their careers.
To secure a place for either of the workshops, please email [email protected]
Councillor Scott Brerton, cabinet member for business and growth at Hyndburn Borough Council, said: “This Jobs Fair is a fantastic opportunity for both employers and residents. We know there are great jobs available right now in Hyndburn, and this event brings everything together under one roof.
“It’s a chance for businesses to meet skilled local people eager to work and for job seekers to take that important next step in their career.”
The Hyndburn Jobs Fair will run between 10am and 3pm at Accrington Town Hall on Monday 9th February. Attendance is free, and workshop spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
