A Lancashire holiday accommodation with a 50-berth marina is on the market.

Property adviser Christie and Co has been instructed to market Tewitfield Marina which offers a 'unique blend of tranquil canalside living and high-quality self-catering accommodation' on the Lancaster Canal.

Owned and operated by Lake District Estates, the site comprises 33 stylish holiday apartments accommodating up to 134 guests, alongside over 50 private moorings for narrowboats and cruisers.

The marina benefits from 50 weeks permitted use per annum for its holiday apartment accommodation and year-round use for its marina moorings, with planning consent for the development of a further 10 apartments, offering scope to increase capacity by 22 guests.

Tewitfield’s peaceful setting, adjacent to the Longlands Country Inn and Restaurant, and its dog-friendly, high-quality accommodation make it a popular choice for families, couples and groups.

With revenue streams from mooring fees, service charges, ground rents and property sales, the business offers a diversified income profile with strong development potential.

Lake District Estates has taken the decision to sell Tewitfield Marina in order to concentrate future investment and growth within its core business area, the development and operation of high-quality holiday parks. Offers are invited for the freehold, going concern business.
