Lifeline to Provide Translation for Leading Wine Trade Show

Preston-based Lifeline Language Services has been commissioned by Promosalons to provide French to English translation of all marketing materials, programme, website and press releases for Vinexpo, the world’s number one trade show for wine and spirits professionals.

Promosalons is a France-based global company promoting more than 80 French trade shows in sectors including aerospace, automotive, agriculture, construction, fashion, lingerie, food, interior design and eyewear. Established 49 years, with 56 offices across five continents and more than 150 employees, Promosalon’s remit is to boost the number of international visitors and exhibitors at French trade shows and in so doing boost the attractiveness of France and Paris as a destination for international events.

Created in 1981, Vinexpo is the world’s number one trade show for wine and spirits professionals.

Having successfully delivered translation for Vinexpo Hong Kong in May 2016, Lifeline has been recommissioned to provide the same for Vinexpo Tokyo in November 2016 and Vinexpo Bordeaux in June 2017.

Vinexpo Tokyo will take place from 15 to 16 November 2016 at the prestigious Prince Park Tower Hotel, in the heart of Tokyo's business district. Specifically tailored to the Japanese market, the show attracted 500 international brands and 3,200 Japanese trade visitors from the wines and spirits industry in its début year.

On 18-21 June 2017, Vinexpo Bordeaux will host 2,400 exhibitors from 45 producing countries and welcome 48,500 buyers from all over the world. Lifeline managing director Lynn Everson says: “We are very pleased to have been recommissioned by Promosalons to provide translation for the next two Vinexpo events. Despite Brexit, our relations with our European customers are going from strength to strength. It’s great to be involved with an exhibition that promotes the very best of European and world produce and culture to a global market.”
