Kingswood site manager to salsa for Queenscourt

Ryan Corlett will swap his site boots for dancing shoes at Strictly Queenscourt on Saturday 14 November 2026.

Kingswood Homes site manager Ryan Corlett is preparing to take to the dance floor and perform the salsa at this year’s competition, raising funds for Queenscourt Hospice.

Based in Southport, Queenscourt provides free care for people living with life limiting illnesses across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. Its work helps patients achieve the best possible quality of life, both at the hospice and at home, while also supporting their families.

Ryan is the third member of the Kingswood team to take on the challenge. In 2024, managing director Paul Jones stepped outside his comfort zone to raise more than £10,000 and win the audience choice award. The following year, Spinners Brook site manager Luke Redshaw raised more than £6,000 and was named the event’s top fundraiser.

Ryan, who manages the Witton Weavers phase at Green Hills in Feniscowles, said: “Paul and Luke have set the bar high, so I have a lot to live up to. Queenscourt does incredible work for families across the area, and I’m proud to be taking part in such an important fundraising event.”

Kingswood Homes’ connection with Southport is set to grow. The housebuilder, which is currently building new homes at its Green Hills and Spinners Brook developments, has submitted a planning application to transform the former Hesketh Centre into a new residential development of 22 houses and an apartment building.

Paul Jones, managing director, said: “At Kingswood Homes, we believe our role goes beyond building homes. It’s about being part of the communities we work in. Supporting Queenscourt’s fantastic work is something our team is proud of, and we can’t wait to cheer Ryan on.”

All funds raised will support Queenscourt Hospice’s vital work with patients and families across the local community. To sponsor Ryan, visit https://www.justgiving.com/page/ryan-corlett-1
