Ibraheem Yousaf, part of our award winning website design team, has recently completed and passed his Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship, awarded by The Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) with a distinction.
The course, which Ibraheem attended over 18 months, combines on-the-job training with off-the-job learning to build and test simple software code, and is equivalent to a Higher National Certificate (HNC), or the first year of a degree.
During the course, Ibraheem honed his skills in creating maintainable code, developing user interfaces, linking code to data, and conducting various forms of testing, ultimately learning many new skills in the complex elements of managing software projects.
Ibraheem commented, ‘Throughout the course, I aimed to strengthen both my technical and theoretical understanding of software development, helping me to apply more structured and efficient approaches in my day-to-day work at seoBusiness as a web developer.
Completing the Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship has really helped me sharpen my skills and broaden my understanding of software development. It’s given me more confidence in tackling complex projects and will definitely support my growth as a developer going forward.’
