How eBusiness UK is helping three new customers increase online sales

In the lead-up to the busiest sales months of the year, eBusiness UK won a string of digital marketing contracts with businesses looking to quickly accelerate their sales growth.

Serving a need to achieve maximum exposure in minimal time, the Blackburn-based web development and digital marketing agency secured a trio of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising contracts in quick succession.

PPC is a tool which often works alongside search engine optimisation (SEO) to help boost a company’s profile online.

Whereas SEO involves a long-term, sustained effort to create a website which is organically selected to sit at the top of search results by sites such as Google and Bing, PPC is a way to leap-frog the queue by displaying adverts across the internet, from Google, YouTube and Facebook to news sites, personal blogs and more.

Through PPC, a company creates text and graphic adverts and then specifies which type of web user they would like to target. If required, a campaign can be narrowed down to very specific demographics, hobbies and locations.

A budget is then decided to keep costs under control, and the adverts begin appearing immediately. They can be switched off just as quickly to ensure no expenditure is wasted.

And highlighting the versatility of PPC, eBusiness UK’s three new contracts cover three entirely different sectors: one order was placed by an artist who sells original works around the world, another by a lighting specialist selling lamps, lights and accessories for indoor and outdoor use, and a third from a firm of electricians which recently launched a service installing electric vehicle charging points.

They join existing eBusiness UK clients currently benefiting from PPC, including a growing furniture retailer, an innovative healthcare technology company, and an Asian foods supermarket looking to increase its presence across the UK.

Latif Kothia, director of eBusiness UK, said: “We are delighted to have won these three new PPC contracts. It’s not just great for our company, to continue a highly successful year by further adding to our client roster, but it’s also a positive note for the wider business community that organisations are continuing to invest and target growth.

“Pay-per-click advertising is a highly-effective method of increasing sales by raising awareness of your brand, products and services online. We have more than 20 years of experience delivering results for our clients and I’m excited for our team to get to work on these three new projects to see what they can achieve.”
