From bricks to clicks

The world is changing fast. The ability to be agile, pivot and change depending on your customer’s spending habits is the key to success during post pandemic Britain.

Are you are using the current situation as an opportunity to launch a new business? Simply looking to diversify into new product ranges or looking to pivot to sell online? How will you manage the fulfilment of orders and returns? Manage your ecommerce sales platform or marketplace? Drive traffic to your current website?

Trading within traditional bricks and mortar shops has been slowing for several years, with Covid-19 forcing many companies to pivot and set up online. Unsurprisingly, this has caused an accelerated growth in ecommerce during 2020.

In May, UK ecommerce had grown by 25 per cent year-on-year, with sales on Amazon growing by 93 per cent year on year. It is unlikely that this trend will cease anytime soon, as Tesco announce a 150 per cent (600,000 to 1.5 million) growth of online shoppers.
