North West law firm, Farleys Solicitors, has announced appointments of several key professionals to their expanding teams. These strategic hires reflect the firm's commitment to enhancing their service offerings and supporting clients with top-tier legal expertise.

John Colvin has joined the commercial litigation team as a partner.

Based in the Preston office, John brings a wealth of experience in handling complex commercial disputes and providing robust legal representation to businesses across various sectors.

John said: "I am excited to join Farleys and look forward to contributing to the firm's continued success and growth."

Seb Lang has been appointed as an associate partner in the Insolvency team.

Operating from the Manchester office, Seb specialises in insolvency, offering expert advice and support to business clients facing financial difficulties and navigating insolvency processes.

Seb said: "Joining Farleys is a fantastic opportunity, and I am eager to work with such a talented team to help our clients through challenging times."

In the Employment team, Farleys is pleased to welcome Rebecca Miller as an associate partner.

Rebecca, based in the firm’s new flagship East Lancashire offices, has extensive experience in employment law, providing guidance on a wide range of issues including HR policies, employment disputes, and compliance with employment legislation.

Rebecca said: "I am thrilled to be part of Farleys and look forward to supporting our clients with their employment law needs."

These appointments come at a time of significant growth for Farleys Solicitors.

The firm has recently expanded its reach across the North West with the acquisition of Wigan-based firm Alker Ball Healds Solicitors (ABH).

This acquisition bolsters Farleys' existing expertise and creates exciting opportunities to bring a full-service legal offering to Wigan and the surrounding area.

Furthermore, the ongoing recruitment drive aims to attract the best talent to support the firm's ambitious growth plans and continue delivering exceptional legal services to clients.

Ian Liddle, managing partner at Farleys, said: "We are thrilled to welcome John, Seb, and Rebecca to the Farleys family. Their expertise and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and support our clients through a period of growth and development."
