Fardella & Bell get a new website and brand refresh

If there’s one thing the Root Fifty-Two team love more than anything – it’s being given the creative freedom to really bring a brand to life, and do our thing! Which is why we were thrilled when we began working with the Lancashire-based Estate Agents, Fardella & Bell.

The Fardella & Bell team focus on a personal, down-to-earth and modern approach to selling properties – and pride themselves on dispelling the stereotypes associated with traditional estate agents… something that certainly seems to be working in their favour!

The business is currently going from strength to strength, having recently opened a new office in Padiham. So, looking for ways to celebrate and reflect this exciting period of growth for the company, the Fardella & Bell team came knocking on Root Fifty-Two’s door back in April – and haven’t looked back since!

After several chats with Aimee, Fardella & Bell’s founder, our creative team decided that an entirely new website and a brand refresh was the way forward, and so, we got to work!

Michael, our talented creative lead, thoroughly loved working on this project and worked closely with Aimee, to ensure the creative vision was right.

“We understand that having someone play around with your brand can be really daunting for businesses – as your brand is an integral part of your business identity. So it was really great that Aimee and the team put their trust in us entirely,” says Michael, “Having the creative freedom to bring a brand back to life is something we all thoroughly enjoy, and it means a lot when our clients are happy to hand over the reins and let us do what we do best!”

“I could see that the brand needed modernising and some vibrancy adding to it, which is why we removed cold colours from the colour palette and introduced some warmer blues and creams to compliment their existing mauve colour.”

“We also brought in some new accessible typefaces to ensure the brand remained professional and consistent both in-person and digitally – as well as including handwritten features and personal touches here and there to reflect Fardella & Bell’s personal and friendly approach to business.”

Once the design and branding had been perfected, it was onto the works of our talented Web Development team – who got to work building a website that prioritised usability and customer experience, to increase conversions and enquiries for the business.

Lee, our web developer, had this to say…

“Working with the Fardella & Bell team was great; they knew exactly what they wanted and provided great feedback, which always helps!”

“We integrated Property Hive into the Fardella & Bell site, which allows them to sync their properties between Rightmove and their own site. Whilst I’ve worked with the Property Hive platform before, I’ve not gone to lengths to make it as bespoke as we did for Fardella & Bell, so it was a great learning experience to get to grips with their API.”

Fardella & Bell Founder, Aimee said: “ The Root Fifty-Two team are friendly and creative, just what we needed to refresh our brand and website ready for the launch of our new shop in Padiham. The team couldn’t be more approachable and knowledgeable, and they took the time to get to know our needs and wants in order to deliver our vision.

"We could not recommend R52 enough! We could not be happier with the final product. We believe the stand-out custom design compliments us as a company; more importantly, it reflects our values and the services that we provide to our past, present and future customers.”
