every1's campaign for FSB attracts award nomination

A campaign aimed at building brand awareness for FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) has been shortlisted for the UK Search Awards 2018.

The SEO campaign, designed and executed by Lancashire-based digital marketing agency, every1, attracted increased visitors to the FSB website which in turn also led to a boost in membership applications.

FSB were keen to introduce their brand to more potential members within the small business community, and influence current perceptions of the organisation. every1 created almost 300 highly-targeted advice articles, which provided exactly the right advice and support, for the right audiences, at the right point in time.

This strategy, which has been nominated in the award’s ‘Best use of Search – Third Sector’ category, attracted 110,000 visitors to the site from a standing start. FSB also received an increase in membership applications of 47 per cent over the same period.

Return extends long-term beyond the life of the campaign, and is expected to continue for the next couple of years, totalling 270,000 website visitors.

Jon Hunter, search director at every1 said: "Our team were thrilled to work on this exceptional campaign, with a well-established brand. It’s an excellent example of how traditional SEO techniques can deliver outstanding results when applied appropriately and creatively." Winners of the UK Search Awards 2018 will be announced at the Bloomsbury Big Top in London on Thursday 29th November.
