Growth is not just numbers on a dashboard.

It is a mindset that shapes every decision we make, from the strategies we pursue to the people we bring into the team.

We have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality IT, telecoms, and cybersecurity solutions, but the real driving force behind this success is our people.

Every new team member brings fresh energy, expertise, and perspective, helping us stay ahead in a fast-changing digital world.

Strengthening Our Technical Strategy

We are delighted to welcome John Cumiskey as the new technical enablement manager. This new role is key to ensuring that the solutions we deliver are not only innovative but perfectly aligned with our customers’ needs.

John is a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert with extensive experience in designing and implementing technical projects.

Before joining Seriun, he worked as a lead technical consultant and project engineer, where he developed a deep understanding of how to match technology with business goals.

In his new role, John will work closely with account managers, sales and project management teams to provide technical guidance and strategic direction. His focus will be on recommending the right technologies, reducing risk, and driving successful project outcomes.

John’s commitment to continuous learning is evident as he works toward Windows Server Hybrid Administrator certification, demonstrating his determination to keep Seriun ahead in a rapidly evolving market.

Richard Lee, technical director at Seriun: “John’s appointment marks a major step in strengthening our technical capabilities.

"His experience and insight will help us deliver solutions that are not only innovative but practical, ensuring our customers get the best possible outcomes from every project.

"We are excited to see the impact John will make as he helps shape our technical strategy and strengthen the value we deliver to customers."

Expanding Technical Expertise on the Service Desk

On the engineering side, Seriun has recently grown our team with a number of skilled professionals who are eager to grow and make an impact:

• Kaden Hardman, originally from South Africa, has joined us on the Service Desk. He made the impressive leap from sport science into IT, showing a remarkable ability to adapt and a strong desire to learn new skills. He is already pursuing advanced certifications and diving into AI applications, which perfectly matches our commitment to future-proofing our solutions.

• Sean Bury moved from operations at Webuyanycar into IT support. His sheer enthusiasm for technology and dedication to constant learning are already making him a huge asset to the service desk team. Sean will absolutely contribute to the delivery of the fast, reliable support our customers count on every day.

• Josh Malcolm brings great experience in SAP upgrades and modernising SharePoint. Josh is a born problem-solver with a strong drive to streamline processes and create smarter ways of working for everyone.

• Luke Ramshead, a third line engineer loaded with impressive certifications, enjoys wrestling with complex challenges and is a real advocate for mentoring others. This is big news as it strengthens our capacity to manage advanced technical solutions while helping our existing team grow their skills. His commitment to expanding his own expertise aligns perfectly with our ambition to stay ahead in a competitive, fast-moving market.

• Adam Fazackerley brings solid, hands-on experience and a determined approach to his work. His experience in infrastructure monitoring and customer support is critical for ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes. His dedication to earning further industry certifications shows he is fully invested in his own journey and Seriun’s journey too.

The Service Desk sits at the core of what we do at Seriun.

It is the first point of contact for our customers and the foundation of the support we provide. By building a team of skilled, committed professionals, we ensure that every interaction delivers reliability, expertise, and confidence – keeping businesses running smoothly and strengthening the trust our customers place in us.

Welcoming New Talent in Marketing

Finally, Seriun is excited to introduce Joshua Lunney as new digital marketing coordinator.

Joshua brings a blend of media and tech publishing experience, combining creative thinking with data-driven strategy.

His background in B2B technology makes him a great fit as we expand our digital presence.

Working alongside our marketing manager, Joshua will help craft campaigns that elevate our brand and deliver real value to the businesses we support.

Why People Matter

These hires reflect Seriun’s commitment to investing in people.

By supporting personal and professional development, we create benefits that extend beyond the individual.

They enhance customer experience, strengthen team culture, and build a solid foundation for long-term success.

Technology moves quickly, and so do we. Our people-first approach ensures we remain adaptable, proactive and aligned with the needs of businesses today and in the future.

By bringing in the right talent, from strengthening technical strategy through the new technical enablement manager to enhancing service desk performance and expanding our marketing reach, we are creating the foundations for better customer experiences, stronger partnerships, and long-term success.

Mark Edwards, operations director said: "I am proud of the recent hires and the expertise they bring to Seriun. I am excited to see how these talented people will help shape our next chapter and deliver even greater value to our customers.

"We are excited about what our new team members will achieve. Their skills and passion will help us deliver exceptional service and create opportunities for our customers.

"At Seriun, growth is about more than targets. It is about people, relationships and innovation that drives shared success.

This is just the start of an exciting chapter for Seriun. We have big plans and more talented people joining us soon. Keep up to date on all the latest news at Seriun, by following us on LinkedIn and X, or get the latest updates by going to https://www.seriun.co.uk/news/.
