Lancashire based Roadshow Promotions, are trusted partners for many public sector organisations, including the NHS and local councils across the country.

They transform single and double-decker buses into fully customised mobile solutions, which help make vital services, education, and healthcare more accessible to communities.

Roadshow Promotions have been involved in many impactful initiatives that have made a positive difference.

Bringing Healthcare to the People: COPD Support Ireland
In collaboration with COPD Support Ireland, Roadshow Promotions created a mobile health clinic that brought respiratory care to communities across Ireland.

The single-decker bus, equipped with private consultation rooms and medical testing equipment, offered free spirometry tests carried out by a qualified respiratory physiologist.

Onboard healthcare specialists provided expert advice, explained test results, and guided attendees on next steps for further treatment. This initiative reduced barriers to care and raised awareness about managing respiratory conditions.

Supporting Numeracy Skills: Stoke-on-Trent College and Stoke-on-Trent Council’s Multiply Campaign

To support the Multiply campaign led by Stoke-on-Trent, Roadshow Promotions provided a double-decker bus to help improve numeracy skills. The educational bus featured eye-catching branding and was equipped for interactive learning, offering numeracy tips, activities, and problem-solving exercises.

The campaign aimed to improve numeracy skills for residents, creating a dynamic and engaging way to support the community’s learning journey.

Having already toured multiple times the educational bus has become a mobile classroom, bringing learning opportunities directly to neighbourhoods and fostering confidence in numeracy skills.

Promoting Mental Health Awareness: Vita Health Group’s “Get on Board with Your Mental Health” Campaign

For Vita Health Group’s innovative campaign, Roadshow Promotions transformed a corporate class single-decker bus into a mobile hub for promoting mental health discussions.

The bus was branded both inside and out, with access to a kitchen area, consultation room, and storage facilities. This initiative provided a safe, approachable environment for individuals to seek mental health support and information, empowering them to take proactive steps for their wellbeing.

As part of the 14-day bus tour, the mobile hub visited various locations across Leicester and Rutland. All aspects of the planning and logistics for the tour, including providing a dedicated driver was done by Roadshow Promotions, allowing Vita Health Group to focus on providing integrated physical and mental health services to employers, the NHS and private patients.

Tackling Smoking Cessation: Wakefield Council’s Outreach Bus

Wakefield Council partnered with Roadshow Promotions to deliver a smoking cessation campaign that could reach people directly within their communities, the Smokefree Bus made stops at key community locations, launching outside Wakefield Cathedral then visiting Wakefield One, Junction 32, Pontefract Market, Pinderfields and Asda Glasshoughton.

The transformation of the single-decker bus into an outreach hub with a consultation area enabled health professionals to offer support and guidance in a convenient, community-focused setting.

Roadshow Promotions Director Natasha Greenley said: “Bus conversions offer a flexible and cost-effective way for public sector organisations to bring essential services to the heart of communities.

"Whether it’s for healthcare, education, or mental health support, our community outreach buses and mobile health buses allow organisations to increase accessibility to essential services and take them directly to communities, boost engagement and enhance visibility with eye-catching branding.”

Roadshow Promotions create mobile solutions that make a real difference. By working closely with organisations like the NHS, councils and local authorities, they ensure every bus is tailored to meet specific needs—whether it's equipping buses with high-tech medical equipment or designing inviting educational spaces.
