With the UK now in a second national lockdown in response to the increasing number of positive Coronavirus cases, businesses whose employees cannot work from home are now looking to invest in tools and services which will help to protect their staff by keeping a COVID-safe working environment.

Whilst preventative measures such as protective screens and social distancing restrictions can help to curb the spread, some businesses are now turning to chemical fogging and professional deep cleaning services in an attempt to further reduce the risk of contamination in the workplace.

How is COVID-19 spread?

Being droplet-bourne, the Coronavirus is spread between people when someone who has the virus coughs, sneezes, speaks, or breathes in the vicinity of another person, or contaminates a surface which someone else may come into contact with.

This is why current guidance suggests that everyone should maintain a distance of at least two metres between one another, and that masks should be worn in all public places. Washing your hands thoroughly and more frequently will also help to reduce the likelihood of infection through direct contact with contaminated surfaces.

How can we prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the workplace?

In addition to installing protective screens as and where required in accordance with your COVID-19 workplace risk assessment, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly in high-contact areas, will also help to prevent the spread of the virus within the workplace.

Looking to invest in an efficient and reliable commercial cleaning service? Contact our team today to find out more about our work in offices, schools, factories and manufacturing units, public service facilities, doctors’ surgeries, dental practices and medical centres.

Does chemical fogging work against COVID-19?

In short, yes! Our chemical fogging service involves the use of an antibacterial and antiviral disinfectant solution, which is sprayed to cleanse and sanitise large areas of a building quickly and effectively.

The solution we use at Cleanbright can kill off the virus and any other biological agents in the air and on any surfaces. Being a very fine mist, it’s safe to use around electrical equipment, such as computers, printers and other machinery, however is still effective in reaching and disinfecting all areas.

Keep your business operating efficiently and help to protect your staff with a tailored, specialist cleaning solution from Cleanbright Services Limited. Contact our team today for more information on how we can help to keep your workplace COVID-secure. 01282 858980
