Demand grows at UVS following strategic investments

Burnley-based video wall specialist Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) has reported strong sales growth and a marked increase in the number of integration partners it is working with.

The business says sales of its Lucidity video wall controller and software have almost trebled in the last three years, with strategic investments placing it in a ‘good position’.

And over that same three-year period, from May 2023 to May 2026, the number of its integration partners rose by 20 per cent, to more than 300.

Lucidity, first launched in early 2019, has been consistently upgraded and developed and is a popular choice for demanding control-room environments.

It is operating in many police forces and government facilities, such as high security prisons and fire and rescue command centres.

UVS managing director Steve Murphy said: “The value of our Lucidity sales during our financial year ending May 26 has increased almost three times to the value during our financial year ending May 23, showing that we are in a good position having made strategic investments in the business.

“During the same period, we are working with almost 50 new ‘integration type partners’ in the UK and internationally, including system integrators in verticals like security, traffic, process control, main contractors and some technical distributors, which now takes us over the 300-mark.

“We have focused on these types of partnerships as a strategic decision, building relationships where UVS offers strong value to support and enhance each partner’s overall offer to the end client.”

UVS, based in the Business First – Burnley Business Centre, is led by four senior colleagues who, between them, have more than 94 years’ combined Audio Visual, Control Room and Visual Solutions experience.

The business says it has a flexible approach to projects, looking at specific integrations and developments to suit individual project and client requirements.

Steve said: “UVS recognises that every project has unique technical and operational requirements.

“Where a project calls for an alternative approach, UVS has strong relationships across the control room and AV markets enabling flexibility to source, integrate and support third party technologies ensuring customers always receive the most appropriate solution.”

In February the company announced that a National Highways Regional Operations Centre (ROC) had been upgraded with the latest Lucidity video wall controllers and software.

National Highways operates seven ROCs across the country, each monitoring traffic 24/7.

UVS worked alongside system integration partner Electrosonic to deliver a modern visual operations environment focused on operator needs.

And last November it reported that it had responded to growing demand for Lucidity video wall controllers by expanding its technical team.
