Daves do the Double

Blackburn Rovers may only be able to dream of doing the double, but family-owned Blackburn Audi has done a Dave double with both its sales managers achieving much sought-after Audi Sales Manager Accreditation.

Delighted Les Peters, head of business at Blackburn Audi commented, “David Wilkinson and David Horsfield both scored an outstanding 96% in their final exams and having had the pleasure of observing both of their final presentations I can see exactly why they’ve scored so highly”.

David Horsfield, general sales manager, started his Audi career at one of Blackburn Audi’s sister branches, Preston Audi, moving to the Blackburn site in 2015, as he explained, “I’m so chuffed to have passed this accreditation with such a high score; I know I’m lucky, I love my job and a work with a great bunch of people.

“Blackburn Audi is part of a family-owned business, Swansway Motor Group and that does make a real difference; the directors are accessible and approachable and that’s something I really enjoy. Plus, they really like to promote from within the group and I can see that happening to others, which gives you even more motivations to do your best."

David Wilkinson started his career in 1983, as a Parts Assistant and has worked his way up to his current role as Used Car Sales Manager, he commented, “I’m so pleased to have done so well; exams weren’t my thing at school, but the car trade is my passion and I think my results show that."
