Cubefunder has strengthened its commitment to supporting young people across the local community by increasing its partnership with Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone to Gold Patron status.
As part of the enhanced partnership, Cubefunder will now contribute £25,000 annually to help Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone continue providing vital opportunities, support, and experiences for thousands of young people across the borough.
Cubefunder is a UK based finance provider that supports businesses with flexible funding solutions, helping companies access the finance they need to grow and succeed. Alongside its work within the business sector, the company is passionate about giving back to communities and supporting initiatives that create meaningful impact for young people.
Gary Miller-Cheevers from Cubefunder, said: “We’re delighted to strengthen our partnership with Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone and become a Gold Patron. We’ve seen first hand the positive impact the Youth Zone has on young people across the borough, and we wanted to increase our support to help them continue providing the opportunities and experiences that can make such a difference.
"As a business, we also really value being part of the Youth Zone’s Patron network. It brings together like-minded business leaders who are passionate about supporting young people, but it also creates genuine opportunities to build relationships, get to know other local businesses and do business with each other.
“We’ve made some really valuable connections through the network, and we’ve seen those relationships develop into new opportunities and business referrals. It’s a great example of how supporting the Youth Zone can have a wider positive impact, not just for young people, but for the local business community too.
“We’re proud to increase our commitment and look forward to continuing to work alongside the Youth Zone and the wider Patron network.”
The increased investment will support the Youth Zone’s mission to offer young people a safe, inspiring environment where they can access activities, guidance, and opportunities designed to help them thrive. From sports, music, and creative arts to employability support and wellbeing services, the funding will help ensure the Youth Zone can continue delivering life-changing opportunities to the young people who need them most.
Leon Crosby, chief executive of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, said: “We greatly value the support from Cubefunder, from increasing to Gold Patron from Silver. Beyond their donation, we see real impact when our network brings together like-minded business leaders at events—creating meaningful connections, generating opportunities, and driving business referrals. We also appreciate the positive feedback we receive, which often inspires patrons to deepen their involvement and increase their support.”
"Through its Gold Patron partnership, Cubefunder joins a growing network of organisations committed to investing in the future of young people and making a lasting difference within the Blackburn and Darwen community.”
