Leanne Lucas is the founder of Let’s Be Blunt CIC, a survivor-led organisation dedicated to preventing knife harm through lived experience, evidence-informed practice and collaboration.
Following the Southport attack in July 2024, Leanne has used her lived experience to advocate for practical, proactive approaches to prevention. She works nationally with government, police, violence reduction units, councils, universities, schools, manufacturers and community organisations to promote safer kitchen knives, safe disposal initiatives, trauma-informed education and training, policy change and inspiration for others.
A former primary school teacher, counsellor and children’s yoga instructor, Leanne combines compassion, authenticity and determination to inspire individuals and organisations to take meaningful action. Her work has been recognised nationally, and she is a sought-after speaker on prevention, trauma-informed practice, creating safer communities and providing hope for others.
Our Business Networking Lunch is designed to help you build meaningful professional connections in a relaxed and welcoming setting. With plenty of time to meet fellow professionals and a delicious 2‑course lunch, it’s a simple, effective way to grow your network.
Regular attendees tell us that the conversations and connections made at these lunches are often more valuable and more cost‑effective than many other forms of business communication.
