Bellway's developments across Lancashire have once again teamed up to support Cash for Kids, donating hundreds of toys and gifts to the annual Mission Christmas appeal.
Bellway’s incredible team of sales advisors across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire, along with its divisional team at the Warrington office, have come together for the third year running to harness the spirit of the festive season and collect sack loads of presents for local families in need of a helping hand.
With the ever increasing cost of living, Christmas is a luxury that many families are struggling to afford. Going some way to help, Bellway has collected books, toys, games, clothing, tech and toiletries, all of which will go directly to those in need to ensure that every child has a gift to open on Christmas morning.
Grace Yarlett, sales director at Bellway, said: “Christmas is a magical time of year, especially for children, both young and old, and we want to help ensure no child wakes up without a gift on Christmas morning.
“We have been delighted to support Mission Christmas for the last three years, and have learned so much about what they do to support families across the region. It has been a pleasure to get involved again this year and I hope that the many toys and gifts collected across our developments have gone some way to help.”
Leah Wegener, fundraising executive at Mission Christmas, said: “We are super grateful to Bellway for supporting us for these last three years and for all of the amazing toys, gifts, clothes and other surprises that they have collected every year.
“This year more than ever we have a huge challenge to support all of the families that need us, so I urge anyone who is able to provide any last minute assistance to get involved. We really need everyone’s support this year to ensure no child goes without a gift on Christmas morning.”
