Ameon lands new £3m deal
Ameon, the Blackpool-based building services company, has landed a new £3m contract to help refurbish a Manchester icon.The company has been appointed by construction firm ISG to undertake work on the redevelopment of the Whitworth Art Gallery.
Ameon will work to a design by mechanical and electrical consultants Burro Happold, as well as contributing its own renewable technologies.The work is projected to last for 14 months and will involve a 60-strong team from Ameon. The firm specialises in the provision of mechanical, electrical and environmental services, renewable technologies and utilities for construction projects in both the private and public sectors.
It provides solar thermal, underfloor heating, ground source heat pump systems and lighting control CCTV and intruder detection systems.
