A leading Blackburn property investment and management firm, has further strengthened its retail and leisure portfolio across the UK.
Adhan Group has announced the acquisition of No. 10 Shiprow, Aberdeen—a 65,000 sq ft mixed-use leisure destination anchored by Lane7 Bowling & Games Bar and VUE Cinema.
This high-profile acquisition underscores Adhan Group’s strategy of investing in large-scale, experiential leisure assets within prime UK locations.
The 65,000 sq. f.t scheme, a cornerstone of Aberdeen’s entertainment scene, attracts significant footfall and reinforces the city’s appeal as a leisure and nightlife hub.
A spokesman for the Adhan Group said: "This 65,000 sq ft leisure scheme at No. 10 Shiprow is a fantastic addition to our portfolio.
"The scale of the asset, combined with the strength of Lane7 and VUE Cinema as tenants, aligns perfectly with our focus on high-quality, income-generating properties in thriving city-centre locations."
The acquisition highlights Adhan Group’s confidence in Aberdeen’s leisure sector, with the 65,000 sq. ft. space serving as a major draw for visitors.
With this acquisition, Adhan Group continues to target strategic, high-yield leisure investments across the UK. The firm remains actively engaged in identifying similar opportunities in key urban markets.
The news comes after last month Lancashire Business View reported that Adhan Group had bought Graham and Brown's former India Mill site in Blackburn.
Since then leading tissue manufacturer Euro Paper has agreed to let the site in a move which could bring 150 new jobs to the area.
