Young 'Uns networking event inspires the next generation

More than 60 of the county's young business people were in attendance at the Young 'Uns networking event at Mitton Hall in the first of a new series that will take place over the coming months.

Guests at the FSB-sponsored event were treated to canapés and drinks whilst having the chance to meet other young business people and share advice and stories.

There was also a Q and A session with guest speaker Luke Massie of Vibe Tickets who shared his own business success story.

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: "Young 'Uns celebrates the very best business talent in the region by recognising those aged 36 and under who are setting the pace.

"Since launching Young 'Uns as a feature in LBV, followed by our Young 'Uns Awards in June 2015, we’ve been asking what you want, and we have delivered with a series of Young 'Uns networking events. The first was great fun and a real success.

"The events are a dedicated platform for people to come together and meet like-minded people, an opportunity to learn and develop, whilst being inspired by the success stories."

The next event takes place on April 20 at The Villa at Wrea Green with guest speaker Pauline Rigby of Forbes, followed by one at Bartle Hall on June 16 with guest speaker Rob Scott of Denwa.
