Yorkshire Bank has appointed a new head of business and private banking at its centre in Preston as it looks to increase support for the local business community.
Stewart Cook, formerly head of business and private banking at the Merseyside centre, will now lead the team based at Yorkshire Bank’s Preston Office.
Stewart said: “During my career I have always strived to be part of the local community and provide a service which customers can trust and rely on. I believe the value of local knowledge and understanding can’t be underestimated and I look forward to bringing that to my new role.
Simon Wright, regional director of business and private banking at Yorkshire Bank in the North West, said: “We are proud to have Stewart leading our team in Preston. His in-depth knowledge of the area’s business community and his awareness of the challenges and opportunities that exist locally will be a great asset.”
Yorkshire Bank recently launched a series of lending initiatives for UK businesses, designed to encourage growth for new and existing customers.
