The winners of the Pendle Hill Properties Halloween Trick or Treat Trail have been revealed, celebrating a week of family fun, local shopping and spooky festivities across Padiham Town Centre.

Children under the age of 12 joined in the exciting trail, dressing up and collecting stamps and treats from ten participating outlets around the town.

After much anticipation, first place was awarded to 9-year-old Eryn Brelsford, who won a family meal for four at The Lawrence Hotel, generously donated by The Lawrence.

Oakley-Rose Tomlinson, aged 5, took second place with a £50 Padiham shopping voucher donated by Padiham Town Council, while third place went to 10-year-old Jamie Chatburn, who received a Halloween-themed sweet hamper courtesy of Pendle Hill Properties.

The prizes were presented at a special ceremony in the council chambers at Padiham Town Hall, with the Mayor of Padiham, Cllr Alun Lewis, joining in the celebrations.

The Trick or Treat Trail proved to be a huge success, generating over 800 shop visits throughout the week.

Participating businesses included Todd's Pharmacy, Rawes Grazing, A1 Motorstores, Jack Jones Barbers, Mooch Cafe87, Pendleside Hospice Shop, Padiham Library, Flamingos Beauty Lounge, The Fat Giraffe and Jimmy's Raw Feed.

Toby Burrows, lettings director at Pendle Hill Properties, said: “It was wonderful to see families out and about visiting different shops in the town centre, having fun and shopping local.

"That is what this event is all about, bringing the community together and supporting our fantastic local businesses.”

Bethany Rawes, Owner of Rawes Grazing, said: “This year’s Halloween trail was by far our busiest yet! It encourages people through the door and increases football, a huge success.

"It's also brilliant for families to be able to do a fun activity with the kids that doesn't cost them anything. Thank you for organising once again!”

Pendle Hill Properties is a friendly, family-run estate agency specialising in residential sales and lettings across Lancashire and the Ribble Valley, with offices in Read and Longridge.
