The commercial property team at law firm Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall has advised on the £1.75m purchase of new headquarters by leading printable media suppliers, Soyang Europe.
The company, founded in 2005, employs 13 people and is a supplier of textile, banner, wall and floor coverings for wide format and grant format digital printing.It is a subsidiary of Soyang Technologies Co Ltd, China and is now in the process of moving from its base on Peel Industrial Estate, Bury, to a purpose-built building on Altham Industrial Estate in Accrington.
The purchase of the 68,000sq ft ‘Calder House’ in Accrington will allow Soyang Europe to expand its business and plan for future growth. The new building will cater for showrooms, meeting rooms and offices along with a substantial warehouse and additional container docking bays.The company is looking to create an additional ten job vacancies in the next few years and has a projected turnover of £7.75m in 2014.
Soyang Europe was advised on the purchase of the property on Altham Industrial Estate by Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall led by partner, Gary Jones. The property agents were Taylor Weaver.Soyang mesh was used to wrap the John Lewis building in Oxford Street during the London 2012 Olympic Games and the company is the main supplier of materials to print houses who in turn, provide branding for blue chip companies in the UK & across Europe.
