Preston Marriott in the frame for world snooker championships

The Preston Marriott has been announced as the partner hotel of the World Snooker Championship to be held at Preston Guild Hall from 25-29 March 2014.

It is the first time in almost 10 years that a major snooker tournament has been held in the city and with an expected audience of 5,000 over five days, the Preston Marriott is proud to be supporting such a prestigious event.

As the partner hotel, Preston Marriott will not only provide accommodation for several of the players and their families, it will also appear on the World Snooker website, as well as the hotel logo featuring on the backdrop for television coverage and in the official tournament programme.

Many of the world’s top players are likely to compete in the £100,000 top prize tournament, including the likes of Ronnie O’Sullivan, Mark Selby, John Higgins, Judd Trump, Ding Junhui and Neil Robertson.
