Weru expands with Leeds office

Weru UK, the Blackpool-based distributor of Weru doors and windows, has furthered its national expansion by opening a new office in the centre of Leeds.

With 8,000 sq ft headquarters in Blackpool, the company serves a UK wide client base, distributing products manufactured by the Germany company.

The new Yorkshire office is part of a plan to take UK group sales from approximately £4.5m annually to over £8m in 2020. The site does not offer showroom facilities but will service new clients and local architects by appointment.

Kate Lindsay, sales director at Weru UK, said: “The new location paves the way for our nationwide business development plan. We have recently partnered with The Royal Institute of British Architects to run a series of professional development seminars for architecture firms across the UK. We will use the new location to strengthen our presence in this vibrant growth area.

“We have already installed numerous Weru windows countrywide as far afield as Jersey, Orkney, Cornwall, Isle of Man so the decision to expand our satellite office locations is a natural progression. We are hoping to further expand over the coming years to support our expanding market share and offer better lifestyle quality for employees servicing regional areas across the UK.”
