We are thrilled to welcome Lucia to Vital Heating Solutions as our new Director of Business Transformation – a pivotal role that will drive innovation, streamline operations, and further establish our position as a leader in sustainable HVAC and building management solutions.

Lucia brings a wealth of experience from an impressive range of sectors, having held consultancy roles with globally recognised organisations such as TUI, Debenhams Group, and multiple local authorities.

Her multi-industry expertise, spanning travel and tourism, fashion retail, and public sector transformation gives her a unique and well-rounded perspective on how businesses can evolve with agility and purpose.

What truly sets Lucia apart is her person-centred approach to transformation. Her commitment to employee wellbeing, learning and development, and diversity, equity and inclusion is at the heart of how she leads.

She combines this ethos with deep knowledge of systems and emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools, to create solutions that are not just efficient but also empowering for people across the organisation.

In her role at Vital, Lucia is taking a strategic lead across sales and marketing, bringing renewed focus to internal collaboration, lateral thinking, and sustainable growth.

Her fresh perspective is already having an impact – she has begun outsourcing key functions such as Finance and People & Culture (HR) to specialist partners from connections met through Lancashire Business View.

This move supports consistency, improves scalability, and ensures greater control as our business continues to grow and diversify.

Lucia is also building strategic partnerships to support brand visibility and business integration. Most recently, she initiated a collaboration with Lancashire Business View, strengthening our voice in the local and regional business community while opening up opportunities for vertical integration and enhanced industry engagement.

A passionate advocate for low-carbon solutions and the broader net zero agenda, Lucia’s motivation is deeply personal. Having spent much of her life abroad, she has experienced the devastating impacts of climate change first-hand, from hurricanes and tsunamis to earthquakes.

Now based in a UK flood zone, she continues to see the consequences of environmental instability up close. This lived experience drives her commitment to building businesses that are not only commercially sound but environmentally and socially responsible.

Lucia has observed how both consumer behaviours and corporate accountability have evolved over the course of her career, and she recognises the shift in what truly motivates people today – purpose, impact, and sustainability.

She is bringing this insight to her role at Vital Heating Solutions, helping us align with the values of a new generation of customers and team members alike.

Her mission is clear: to transform the way we operate, enhance both our customer and employee experience, and ensure we continue to lead in the development of energy-saving solutions – including the implementation of the most effective Building Management Systems on the market.

All while positioning us for industry recognition with our sights firmly set on winning at this year’s Red Rose Awards.  Her appointment marks a bold and exciting new chapter for Vital Heating Solutions – one where people, purpose and planet are truly at the core of everything we do.
