H&T Presspart, a global leader in manufacturing components for respiratory drug delivery devices, has announced its support for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone as a Patron.

This partnership reflects the company’s continued commitment to supporting the local community and investing in opportunities for young people in Blackburn and Darwen.

Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is a modern, purpose-built facility open to young people aged 5 to 19, and up to 25 for those who need support with employability.

The Youth Zone offers a diverse range of activities and programmes focused on skills and aspirations, and health and well-being.

With the support of patrons like H&T Presspart, the Youth Zone is able to meet over £2.5m in annual running costs, providing life-changing support to thousands of local young people, the Youth Zone also offers free membership, free entry and a free hot meal to all 5,000 members.

Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone has recently been one of the first Youth Zones to launch Babyzone age 0-5, which now serves families in six locations across the UK; in partnership with Public Health Blackburn, Home-Start, Perinatal Mental Health, Family Hubs and Little Kickers.

Tony Cross, managing director at H&T Presspart, said: “As a long-standing employer in the area, we’re proud to support an organisation that’s actively shaping the future of our community.

“Becoming a Patron of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone allows us to invest directly in the personal and professional development of young people, giving them the opportunities and confidence to thrive.”

Wayne Wild MBE, chairman of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome H&T Presspart as a Patron.

"Their support is vital in allowing us to expand our reach and impact, helping to inspire the next generation with skills, purpose, and self-belief.

"We encourage all local businesses to become part of the network, meet like-minded business leaders and invest in the next generation of young people.”

The Youth Zone has recently launched its brand-new Aspirations, Skills, and Progression Hub centre, funded by the Youth Investment Fund (YIF).

This exciting development provides hands-on training, employability workshops, career guidance, and real-life work experience opportunities designed to equip young people with the tools they need for long-term success.

H&T Presspart’s support helps ensure that these vital initiatives are not only sustainable but continue to grow—providing the next generation with access to meaningful opportunities and brighter futures.
