Warehousing and transport for Bemis Manufacturing Group’s UK operation

Bemis Manufacturing Company is an international enterprise which initially began in 1901 as a small, family-owned manufacturing business, and has since grown to become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plastics products, including toilet seats, speciality health care products and small precision parts. With bases all over the world, today Bemis toilet seats can be found across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and North and South America. 

“Being so closely located to one another, with their site only a few minutes away from our Head Office at Albion House, we have retained a good relationship with Bemis for a number of years now, as we have previously fulfilled contracts for transport of their goods around the UK,” says Graham Clare, Business Development Director at Fagan & Whalley. 

“Around twelve months ago, the team over at Bemis contacted us to enquire about our warehousing capabilities, as they were looking to bring their storage closer to their own site. In the last twelve months, our relationship has developed, and we are now running a full storage and distribution operation for their products.

“Bemis products are manufactured at sites across Europe, as well as on-site at their production facility in Burnley, before being shipped to our warehouse, where we provide secure storage. As part of our comprehensive approach, our warehousing teams also carry out order fulfilment, picking and packing orders and loading them onto our vehicles in preparation for dispatch to customers across the UK.”
