Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire and Transporter Life celebrate a 15-year partnership

Custom Built T5 Pickup

Swansway Motor Group’s Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire are delighted to be celebrating 15 years of successful business and support with Lancashire-based business Transporter Life.

The partnership started in 2008, when Toby Stowe, owner of T4life – a Volkswagen Camper Conversion business- purchased his first Volkswagen T5 van from the Swansway retailer.

Transporter Life is a family-run business, owned by Toby Stowe and his daughter Sally Stowe, established in January 2019 when the lifelong Volkswagen fans noticed a gap in the market for a Volkswagen Transporter accessories and alloy wheel shop. Transporter Life runs alongside T4life, which first started trading in 2008.

Since purchasing their first T5 vehicle from Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire, the partnership between the two businesses has evolved. Developing a close relationship, over the years Transporter Life have always brought their business to Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire and in return for their continued custom, the team at Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire have assisted Transporter Life when needed.

Most recently, Transporter Life was able to loan a Volkswagen Crafter from the Swansway-owned dealership and use it to transport the equipment needed to showcase their business at Campermart 2023.

Campermart is the first of many Volkswagen Campervan shows of the year, with VW Convertors, retailers and traders all congregating in one place to talk all things Volkswagen Camper Vans.

Being able to loan a Crafter helped the team at Transporter Life carry all of their equipment in one vehicle, therefore cutting down the need for multiple vans and drivers.

Sally Stowe, from Transporter Life, commented: “Our relationship with Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire goes a long way back and it’s brilliant to have such a good working relationship with the whole team. As a local, family-run business, we appreciate the support that we receive from Volkswagen Van Centre Lancashire.”

David Cowan, brand director at Swansway Motor Group, commented: “We are delighted to be celebrating such a long-standing relationship with the team at Transporter Life. As a family-owned and run business, we at Swansway are pleased to support another family-owned business, but also we are pleased to be a part of the enthusiastic and engaged Volkswagen Camper community through our work with Transporter Life!”
