Reflecting on 2025.jpg.jpg

We would like to thank our customers, our partners and all the other people we have worked with for helping us to turn the past year into one of success, innovation, record sales and expansion.

West Midlands Regional Transport Coordination Centre

The year began with our video wall systems installed at the Transport for West Midlands Regional Transport Coordination Centre (RTCC) in Birmingham approaching 50,000 hours of continuous 24/7 operation.

UVS supplied and installed all equipment via its systems integrator partner TIS, which specialises in driving digital transformation and integration across the life safety, security and communications industry.

Bedroq

We then partnered with West Yorkshire-based high-performance IT solutions provider Bedroq to complete control room installations for a UK police regional crime unit spanning five force areas.

The control rooms are based across multiple sites, which can’t be identified for security reasons, and comprise five video walls using a total of 43 LCD video wall displays, ranging from 46-inch to 55-inch and controlled by UVS Lucidity WBC90 controllers with Lucidity software and touch panels.

Traffic Group Signals

Next up, market-leading traffic management company Traffic Group Signals took the monitoring and efficiency of its installations to the next level thanks to a video wall provided by us.

Traffic Group Signals, part of The Traffic Group, manufactures and supports the traffic management industry’s most advanced portable and temporary traffic signal products.

The video wall provided by UVS at Traffic Group Signals’ new headquarters in Cheltenham allows it to map all of its deployed traffic light systems across the country and manage and interact with them remotely to quickly resolve any issues.

Integrated Video Wall Controllers

Then, in September, in what we believe to be an industry first, UVS launched a range of displays featuring integrated video wall controllers.

The Lucidity Inside display range features Lucidity Lite installed as standard, providing all the necessary features required to display up to 12 data sources simultaneously.

The 55-inch , 65-inch, 75-inch, 86-inch, 98-inch LCD and modular LED 24/7 display options all have a Lucidity video wall controller and software fitted inside the display.

UVS Expansion and Lucidity Growth

Finally, as the year began to draw to a close we responded to growing demand for our Lucidity video wall controllers by expanding our technical team.

Lucidity has been an incredibly popular solution for UVS clients and partners since it was first launched in early 2019. Its new expanded range of controllers is faster and more powerful, using very latest CPU (Central Processing Unit) processing power.

We were also able to reveal that combined sales of Lucidity software and controllers have increased by 63% since October 2023 and as a result of the rising sales, Matthew Orton has joined the company in the role of IT/AV technician.

Here’s to an equally successful 2026 and everyone at UVS would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
