Some 150 people attended the black-tie event at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool to raise money and awareness of the research taking place at Lancaster University into Alzheimers and neurodegenerative brain disease.
Dr Penny Foulds spoke about Defying Dementia and looked at the research being undertaken
The magic circle were there on the night performing close up magic to a captive audience. Guests enjoyed a three-course gala dinner said by one guest to be "delicious"
The Top cat band provided music for people to dance the night away.
An auction held on the night with trips to Paris, cases of champagne and experience days raised £2500 for Defying Dementia.
The Gala dinner was held on Defying Dementia's fifth birthday so a double celebration was held.
