Two Stories, a North West based brand consultancy & design studio is behind a new brand and website for not for profit start up, isla.

isla a new industry body for sustainability in events, with 12 founding members and advisory board, approached Two Stories to develop their brand and website to launch their start up so they could accelerate change.

Two Stories creative director, Bekkie Hull, said: “We are so pleased to have been approached by isla for this project. With nothing but their name in place we were trusted to create a brand and website that would accelerate their launch and introduce them into the industry.”

With a strong ethos and business objective, isla aim to empower people with the right information to engage in and promote behavioural change within the events industry. The brand and website needed to be centred around those values.

Bekkie added: “The organic brand shapes are enigmatic of isla shaping the event industry and contributing to a more circular economy. Similarly, the core earthy colour palette oozes sustainability but is injected with strong vibrant accent colours to give the electric vibe of the events industry.”

Anna Abdelnoor, CEO of isla had this to say about the duo at Two Stories: “Working with Two Stories was has been such a brilliant experience. Bekkie and Rob have been such a responsive team, supporting us to make the creative calls that are right for our brand as well as helping us shape and align our message by being very reflective and calm throughout.

"We threw a bit of a curveball their way with a very tight deadline and they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a brand that we loved. As a company with clients of our own, we know what it can be like to have requests thrown at you left, right and centre but Bekkie and Rob expertly helped us to prioritise and were clear and communicative, helping us to manage our expectations but at the same time working hard to deliver everything we needed.

"The main thing that drew us to Two Stories was their varied range of projects. Looking through their portfolio we could see that they would communicate our brand’s message and identity without being a one-trick-pony agency that churns out one style over and over again.

"A small team with big hearts and open minds. I can highly recommend working with Two Stories.”

Rob Ellis, managing director at Two Stories added: “It has been rewarding to work on a project that is not only beneficial to isla as a business, but could change the future landscape of the events industry all together. In a world where change is dramatically needed, companies like isla bring sustainability into the mainstream and encourage people to invest in their planet.

"We’ve really enjoyed working on the launch of isla’s brand and website and can’t wait to work with the company on their ongoing design work.”
