Trutex Limited, one of the best known and longest established brands in the school uniform market, has announced the acquisition of John Hall Schoolwear, a UK based specialist school uniform manufacturing business located in Rochdale.
In addition, it will allow the company to be more reactive to the requirements of their independent retail customer base, offering an improved service and shorter lead times on certain school-specific garments.
John Hall Schoolwear will continue to trade at its current location at Fieldhouse Industrial Estate, Rochdale as an independent business within the Trutex group, and the founders - John and Maureen Hall - will remain in their current roles.John Hall said: “Being a family run company since it was established in 1980, it was essential that any future partner understood the philosophy and strengths we have built up over the years. We are very comfortable that the management team at Trutex are on board with our aims and look forward to working together as part of the wider Trutex group.”The purchase of John Hall Schoolwear by Trutex Ltd was approved by Endless LLP, which acquired Trutex in February 2010.
