Trevor Dawson Charity Golf Day 2026

The annual Trevor Dawson Charity Golf Day returned once again, bringing the business community together in support of Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone, a fantastic charity changing young lives across the Lancashire area.

This year’s event was held at the scenic Wilpshire Golf Club, and once again it proved to be a remarkable day of golf, generosity, and community spirit.

The competition saw 20 teams from across the region take to the course, with BEK Enviro claiming the top spot for the second-year running, a remarkable back-to-back achievement. 

In total, an outstanding £8,000 was raised, all of which will go directly to supporting the vital programmes and opportunities that Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone provide to young people in the local area.

With youth unemployment in Blackburn and Darwen remaining above the national average, the work of the Youth Zone, supporting over 5,000 young people with pathways into employment, education, and training, has never been more important.  

Caroline James, managing director of Trevor Dawson, said: “This year’s Golf Day at Wilpshire Golf Club was another truly special occasion.

"The atmosphere, the competition, and above all the generosity of everyone involved made it a day to remember. Raising £8,000 for Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone means the world to us.

The work they do, giving thousands of young people in our community real pathways into employment, education and training, is something we are incredibly passionate about supporting.
