Training 2000 launches cyber security centre

Training 2000 is set to launch its new cyber security centre which will work with businesses and individuals  to ensure they are protected against damaging cyber-attacks.

Friday 8 April will see the launch of the purpose built learning environment at the new cyber security centre in Nelson, where learners will be able to come out of their everyday working lives and into the fully iMac equipped facility.

The event will see the centre officially opened by Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson, before key note speakers highlight the current cyber risks affecting businesses.

Guests will also hear from Mark Hindle, managing director of MNH Platinum, who provide specialist contract hire and vehicle management before having the opportunity to tour the facility and network with fellow attendees.

Training at the Netherfield Road site will include cyber security awareness training, and how important protecting against potential attack is for businesses – alongside ‘cyber essentials’ training which will make sure businesses are equipped to achieve the government standard.
