Training 2000 celebrates 'Good' rating by Ofsted

Training 2000 is celebrating a successful Ofsted inspection, with inspectors rating the provider as "Good". 

The inspection highlighted how leaders are “committed to providing high-quality training for their apprentices” and how the tutors are “well trained and highly qualified for their roles”.

Inspectors praised how apprentices are “well prepared for life and work in modern Britain” and how tutors “provide apprentices with effective careers advice and guidance”. 

Some key quotes from the report include: 

•  Apprentices “contribute enthusiastically to sessions, enjoy their training, and are routinely respectful to staff and peers”
• “Tutors carefully plan and teach apprenticeship curriculums so that apprentices build their knowledge and skills, remembering what they learn”.
• Leaders set “high expectations” and have “clear rationale for the curriculums that they offer”           

Chris Stott, chief executive officer of Training 2000, said: “We very much welcome the findings of Ofsted’s recent inspection and are extremely proud of the many positive aspects highlighted in the report.

"The ‘Good’ grade that we have been awarded recognises the hard work and dedication of our team and the tangible impact our training has on learners.

"Particularly pleasing is the recognition of how well our apprentices apply their learning in real-world contexts becoming valued and trusted members of the workforce.
