Townfield care home receives upgraded CQC rating

Townfield Care is a family-owned company which is committed to achieving the highest standards of care. Following a period of investment and extensive renovation, their Ribble Valley Care Home located in Sawley has been inspected by the Care Quality Commission and awarded a Good rating. 

Ribble Valley Care Home is located in the centre of the beautiful village of Sawley, on the edge of the Forest of Bowland and overlooking the River Ribble. There are stunning views of the Ribble Valley looking across the river and views up to Pendle Hill. It is surrounded by countryside and has beautiful mature gardens and a courtyard in the centre of the home, for all the residents and visitors to the home to enjoy.

The care home is owned and run by the Townfield Care Group, which has over 40 years of experience in providing residential dementia care and Home Care in the local areas of Ribble Valley, Hyndburn and Rossendale. They provide a first-class service to the residents ensuring they retain their independence and individual choices whilst living in a caring, safe environment.

The CQC report included positive comments such as: "People told us they were treated with respect." "They are kind, respectful and compassionate to her and us." and "I feel comfortable when I go there. It's a lovely room with patio doors that see out to the courtyard."
