With over 20 years’ experience as a Finance Director, Steve Green has recently left the security of full-time employment with leading nursery brand Cosatto to run his own business, ‘The Passionate CFO’.

Steve is passionate about helping ambitious entrepreneurial business owners achieve the financial goals and dreams which they have for their businesses.

He comments that ‘his work largely revolves around a people-focused approach to making sure that his clients have a finance team which is up to the job, who have financial control of the business & who are contributing to the success of the business’.

Over the last 10 years, the demand for Part Time Finance Directors/CFOs has increased with businesses recognising that they can secure the talents of an experienced FD to help their business grow without the expense or need for a full time employed Finance Director.

Steve adds ‘Another large part of my role is to ensure my clients have reliable financial information to help them successfully steer through the many business challenges which will naturally arise as part of running a business’. Steve would love to talk to business owners who may need his services & he would also like to meet Investment Managers in Private Equity & Venture Capital firms who may also have a need for his services on an interim basis.
