The next generation of Chard

The specialist coin and bullion dealer, Chard (1964) Ltd, has announced that Juliana Chard, daughter of Lawrence and Jane, has joined the company.

Juliana will be working closely with Lawrence, the highly experienced and renowned numismatist. Her involvement will strengthen the numismatic team and will inject some youth and vitality into Chard.

With over 50 years’ experience in the business, Chard has grown from strength to strength and earlier this year was awarded the prestigious title of UK Bullion Dealer of the Year 2015.

With the recent expansion and planned developments for the future, Lawrence felt the time was right to strengthen the principal function of the company.

Until recently, Juliana was a full time senior pharmacist at Whiston Hospital in Merseyside.

Commenting on her appointment, she said “Chard is entering a period of rapid growth in both the national and global markets. We want to ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the expertise, high quality products and the excellent customer service that has become synonymous with the brand.
