Wrea Green headquartered Eventus Recruitment Group has celebrated its most successful year to date, recording an increase in income of 26 per cent on the previous year and expanding into new geographic areas.
The specialist recruitment consultancy, which works across legal, finance and financial services on a national basis, has supported a record number of professionals into new jobs.
In addition, the recruitment company has employed three new recruitment consultants in the last 12 months – Vanessa Grey, Gemma Clarke and Izzie Vaughan. Growing their team to 10 recruitment consultants for the first time, has enabled the company to support the recruitment of more businesses and expand their presence in the Midlands. As a result, there’s been growth in the number of employers recruiting through Eventus. The business made placements with 85 clients, compared with 69 the previous year, while 33 clients recruited two or more candidates through the consultancy.
The north west remained Eventus’s largest market, with written fees increasing by 51 per cent. Yorkshire also delivered strong growth, rising by 66 per cent, while the south Home Counties recorded a 41 per cent increase. Their team also made placements in the east and west Midlands, extending its geographical reach with the additions of Gemma Clarke and Izzie Vaughan.
Managing director Siobhan Courtney said: “Behind these results are people taking the next step in their careers and employers finding the talent they need. We’re proud of the work our team has done to support both throughout the year.
“Seeing more clients choose Eventus, and established clients return to recruit with us again, is particularly rewarding as a small business. Those relationships depend on understanding each business and taking the time to understand what candidates want from their next role.
“Our team deserves real credit for this year’s success. As we enter the new financial year, which runs from October to September, we’ll continue to build our specialist networks and invest in the support we give to clients and candidates.”
Alongside its commercial growth, Eventus Recruitment has introduced a career progression framework offering routes into both people management and senior specialist roles. The framework gives consultants opportunities to progress through developing their market expertise and client relationships, as well as through leadership.
For 2026-27, the company’s priorities include expanding its candidate networks and strengthening support in developing markets. Planned marketing and technology enhancements will support this work, with a focus on the candidate journey and giving consultants more time to build relationships.
