Taylors expands team

Commercial law firm Taylors has appointed Sharon Harrison to its corporate and commercial team.

The news follows the appointment of Stephen Jarman as corporate partner at the end of last year, both in response to a continuing increase in instructions from its clients, which has resulted in a 24% increase in turnover for the firm this financial year.

Sharon joins Taylors from Dickson Haslam in Preston where she acted for a wide range of local and national businesses, from sole traders to large corporates, and advised on a number of higher value transactions.

Elaine Hurn, managing partner, said: "Sharon's appointment to our team comes in response to a continued growth in the number of instructions we have been seeing year on year from our valued longstanding clients, but also from a growing number of new SME clients who are choosing to work with the team at Taylors, both of which have resulted in us achieving a 24% increase in turnover this year.
