The Tabley Green housing development in Fulwood has been named ‘best in Lancashire’ at the UK Property Awards.

The accolade was one of eight earned by homebuilder Redrow on the night.

Tabley Green spans 170 properties and picked up a 5* Best Residential Development Award for Lancashire, making it officially the top new homes scheme in the county.

Four other Redrow developments were named Residential Development Award Winners in their respective counties and Redrow also picked up three awards for the interior design of two show homes and a sales centre.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “We put Tabley Green forward because we are very proud of its Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection homes and the environment in which they sit.

"The development boasts nearly two acres of open space, including a pond, native trees and shrubbery. There will be a new children’s play area and nearly a third of the homes will be sold at below market value to make them more affordable for local people."

The UK Property Awards were judged by an independent panel of 80 industry experts, with judging focused on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The judging panel was chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, The Earl of Liverpool, and Lord Thurso, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament. The Tabley Green development features a choice of three-bedroom semis and three and four-bedroom detached homes, with prices from £214,995 for the semi-detached Ludlow. The four-bedroom detached Sunningdale with two en-suite bathrooms and an integral double garage is available from £359,995.
