Sydney joins 21Digital Search Academy

Sydney Davy has joined Blackburn digital marketing agency 21Digital as an apprentice at its inhouse Search Academy.

Aimed at providing an entry point for people looking for a start in the UK’s burgeoning digital marketing sector, the Search Academy was launched in 2022 as an extension of the agency’s successful apprentice schemes, working with local colleges, which have resulted in a number of previous apprentices joining its team full-time.

Before joining 21Digital, Sydney worked as a shift manager in high street retail while studying accounting, business, and statistics at college.

She says: “After completing Google’s Digital Marketing course last year, I developed a fascination with how businesses connect with their audiences online and use digital strategies to grow.

“Rather than continue down a pure academic road to university after college, my direct business experience made me realise I would be better suited to a more practical, hands-on route, so the Search Academy at 21Digital is the perfect option.

“I’m truly excited to begin pursuing my digital marketing career. Everyone at 21Digital has been incredibly welcoming, and I feel confident this is the ideal environment to grow and develop my skills. I look forward to contributing to the agency’s success and seeing what the future holds.”
