Miller Homes is sharing successful statistics from its Beacon Park development in Catterall near Preston today. Over 90 per cent of its homes are now sold, meaning the development has reached its final phase with just 15 homes left out of 200.

Beacon Park, which launched in early 2018, brought a number of quality, energy-efficient homes to the Lancashire village of Catterall. The homes, a mix of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties, all feature modern open-plan layouts with extra space for remote working. Popular house types such as the 5 bedroomed Shakespeare is available for growing families, or the modest 3 bedroomed Malory has also proved popular amongst local residents and buyers.

Miller Homes has reported a rise of first-time buyers at the development, with 38 per cent of homeowners purchasing their first home. This is thought to be in thanks to modern-open plan layouts and the potential cost reductions of owning an energy-efficient home.

Residents of the development can enjoy the best of both worlds with the countryside on their doorstep, as well as great transport links to Preston, Garstang and the wider Lancashire region.

Clare Noakes, sales director of Miller Homes in the North West, commented: “We are delighted to say the words: “90 per cent of our new homes have been sold!” It’s been a terrific journey at Beacon Park and we’ve loved helping our customers into their new homes.”

Since building it the area, Miller Homes has contributed in abundance to the local community. Most recently, the homebuilder made donations to local sporting clubs in Garstang area, including a £300 donation to the Garstang Gators, which helped the club to celebrate their summer Medals Gala in style. Contributions of £1.1m were also made by Miller Homes via a section 106 agreement, which was split between improvements to primary education, travel plans and transport works.

Homes at Beacon Park are available to move into before the end of 2022. Those interested in the development should visit the website and register for updates, or call Jo, the Development Sales Manager, on 03300 377 155.
