Architectural practice studio John Bridge in Preston has announced its expansion into Manchester’s creative and co-working community.
Founded by chartered architect John Bridge in 2014, the studio recently established a presence within Campfield, Manchester’s emerging contemporary co-work destination, having first taken space there in October 2025. The move reflects the company’s ambition to strengthen relationships across Manchester and Cheshire, while continuing to grow its client base throughout the wider region.
At the same time, the practice has also returned to its Preston roots, relocating into a larger ground-floor studio at Artistry House, the building where the business first began its journey back in 2018.
John Bridge said: “Manchester has always been an important city for us creatively and commercially. Establishing ourselves within Campfield allows us to strengthen relationships, collaborate more closely with existing contacts and continue building our presence across the city and Cheshire.
"At the same time, returning to Artistry House in Preston feels incredibly significant. It’s where much of our early growth happened, and moving back into a larger studio reflects how far the practice has evolved over recent years.”
Recent John Bridge projects include completion of a 14 bed supported housing scheme for Progress Housing Association and securing planning approval for the regeneration of Preston’s Harris Institute building, alongside completion of the co-designed Foxton Youth Centre project developed collaboratively with young people from Avenham.
