In the face of increasing competition, a battle to attract and retain top talent, enhanced technology and increasing practice expense bases, it is becoming more important than ever for law firms to set a robust strategic plan.
Our research, now in its second year, is focusing on the pivotal insights of mid-sized solicitor firms with a regional or national footprint.
This study has been developed in association with The Law Society to capture key trends and insights from decision makers of mid-sized firms.
It will use data from 2025 to identify strategic priorities for 2026.
How to take part
The survey is designed to be completed by partners in mid-sized solicitor firms with a regional or national presence in England and Wales.
It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the survey.
You can respond based on pre-existing knowledge as a leader within your firm, without the need for precise figures.
You can view our first Strategic Insights Report, where questions on borrowing gave an insight as to how and organisational growth will be funded, and how rising costs present one of the biggest challenges to mid-size law firms, which were further impacted by the increase in employers’ national insurance revealed in the recent budget.
The report compared financial data, as well as gaining an insight and greater understanding of firms’ technological, environmental and social development goals. This report aims to help you identify strategic opportunities for your firm throughout 2025.
